Looking for one serious barber to go 50/50 with me and launch NYC’s dopest Mobile Barber Shop

Yo, I’m Jay – licensed barber, 9 years in high-end salons, just walked away from the chair-rental life because I’m done giving shops 60 % of my money.

I plan on buying and converting a 24–28 ft caravan/box truck into a full rolling barbershop:

- 2 stations + waiting area

- Hot water sink, LED lighting, big mirrors, sound system, the thing is gonna look like a boutique on wheels

- Wrap already designed (matte black + gold, turns heads from a block away) We can discuss and design it together if you don't like it, I'm open to suggestions and discussions.

The play

- Spring → Fall: We chase every single fair, carnival, food-truck festival, college campus event, car shows, flea markets in NY/NJ/CT. These spots are cash machines – $40–$80 fades, lines all day, zero rent.

- Winter/off-season: Door-to-door “house-call” service but on steroids. We park the truck right in front of their house (no travel fee, no mess inside their place). Rich neighborhoods in Westchester, Long Island, NJ already begging for this.

Numbers are stupid

One decent weekend festival = $3k–$7k split two ways.

House calls in winter = $150–$200/hr easy once we’re known.

What I bring

- 50% cash to buy & build the truck (conversion starts next month)

- All the contacts for events (I already work some of these fairs)

- Branding, Instagram page ready, booking app picked

- My full book of clients that will follow anywhere

What I need

One other real barber who cuts clean, shows up on time, and wants to eat.

We split cost, profit, loss 50/50 after gas & supplies. Everything else is ours.

This isn’t “invest and pray.” You gotta be ready to cut hair 6–7 days a week when it’s popping, travel with me to the events, and treat this like it’s your baby too.
